So Brynley wants to be potty trained! She’s been telling me right after she goes potty that she’s went, and when we’re at home I just leave her diaper off and she’ll go on the potty every time. She’s been doing this for a few months now, the problem comes in when I try to put underwear on her, she pee’s in it everytime. 
I think I have her confused cuz’ I’ve been having to run around so much with taking Payton to preschool everyday that I haven’t been very consistent, In fact I’m a little confused on how to make this transition, I wish I remembered what I did with Payton but my memory really does not extend that far. Any Ideas or suggestions would help cuz’ I’m stumped on what to do. And I really hate cleaning dirty underwear–gag!

We had the same thing with Jason, he did great when we let him run around with no underwear, but would just go in his underwear. This went on for a looong time until he finally just got it, I don’t think we did anything special, just waited until he got it. Now we have Jakey wanting to use the potty, but he doesn’t have any control yet so I won’t even let him run around with no underwear or diaper.

My advise, even though it sucks really bad… no more diapers. Only underwear. It will take about 3 day and then she will figure it out. You just have decide to do it and do it. No going back.
i heard the no diapers thing as well– but i can’t bring my self to do it because i don’t stay home enough and i don’t want to wash his whole car seat– but if you can do it i hear it works!
