Amelia’s Blessing
Amelia’s Blessing
 In our family we had 5 babies born this spring and in consequence we had many much baby blessings going on. So we were happy when our Niece had no problem combining parties and blessing both of our cute little girls together!
She’s such a cutie {but ya don’t ask about the bow or the dress- I was still sewing it the morning of and I still am not sure if I like it— :) it’s missing something but I can’t figure out what it is- and it’s to late now anyways :) }
Dave’s sister has a beautiful backyard that they let us use for the occasion.
 Grandpapa holding sweet millie :)
 We had quite the crowd and it was a beautiful day!
The kids of course loved the trampoline– it was one of those let’s see who gets hurt first things :)
and I actually found a picture of myself holding millie girl– so I had to put that up- I think that brings the total pictures of me on this blog up to like 3 or so :) ya I enjoy behind the camera much more.
Fourth of July
The fourth this year we had a blast!
To start off the day we went to the fun little Menan Parade with the Packers and of course went and got some yummy Cotton Candy and Scones
After that we headed to Dave’s brothers for the annual 4th of July BBQ and party, which is always a blast!
There was a quick little rainstorm which helped cool us all off! And Ellie loved having her own umbrella.
The kids played with their bikes

and the men played with their bikes :)
{our nephew Aaron tricked up his bike and everyone loved riding it!}
The kids played loved playing in the dirt
and on the tramp.
and I’d say the kids ate many yummy yummy smores but the truth is I ate the most! :)
Than of course the boys went and had a hayday playing with all their toys {the fireworks}

Ellie thought the sparklers were kinda fun, but not really :)
 Overall it was a wonderful family filled fourth of July!
Fouth of July little mini photoshoot!
So I have tried to be better at actually taking the time and doing little sessions of my own family and kids.
Earlier this year at D.I. I found this cute little wagon for cheap and immediately pictured a cute little fourth of July shoot! Of course my girls were very cute willing subjects for me and it was such a nice warm evening! I really love our summers here!
 Ellie of course is my little model :) I never tell that girl to pose and she always does some little pop her hip or knee thing- makes me smile!

 A beautiful July evening in our Beautiful country!

This is the Place and Salt Lake Temple Vacation
 While we had grand plans for this summer, life doesn’t always work out :) My Grandparents are serving a temple mission in Nauvoo right now and I so so so so wanted to be able to go and take our family and go see also where Dave’s parents have been serving their mission… but two herniated discs and the looming cost of a possible back surgery for poor Dave kinda crushed those ideas.
So instead we settled for a quick weekend trip down to Salt Lake City
We took the kids around Temple square {the christus and visitor centers}, the Joseph Smith building and the Beehive house. While we were there we also watched the Joseph Smith movie. The kids did wonderful and I was honestly surprised by how much Payton enjoyed the movie {like loved it!}
Another thing that I wanted to take the kids to was the
My grandparents took me there when I was probably close to Payton’s age and I loved it! It sparked so much interest in me about that time period and I remember reading book after book when I was younger about pioneers.
Payton was of course the Navigator of the trip and took us to all the places he wanted to visit.
 The kids seemed to really enjoy it!
 They mined for gold nuggets
 and made some Indian necklaces along with riding the little train around the pond.

 Overall we had a lot of fun as a family looking at things and teaching the kids about that time and what life kinda looked like back than.

 Brynley and Payton were able to Ride some horses which they loved!

 {Payton trying to act like the big boy and that it wasn’t that fun…. but I can see his joy right under that thin facade}
 They also had a cute little mini playhouse village made that the kids had a blast running around in, and gave me and Dave a chance to sit down cuz it was HOT! Dave being the amazing Dad that he is was pretending like his back wasn’t killing him as much as we really knew it was :(
 Over all the kids loved the park and asked if we could go back every year :)
After the Park we decided to take the kids up to the Temple where we got married.
I had wanted to do a picture like this for our kids for awhile so I was glad for the opportunity and it was a nice end to a beautiful day and vacation!
I dearly love my little family and that they are mine for the eternities!
